Kristen is a 2006 graduate of Ogle School of Hair,
Skin & Nails in Hurst Texas. A certified sugar specialist since 2007 and holds an eyelash extension certification
since 2007. She has been a professional makeup artist in the modeling, pageantry and bridal industry since 1994. Kristen
has recently added studies in Reflexology and Chinese Acupressure. In July 2008 she received the 100 hour Advanced Diploma
Post Graduate Certificate of Achievement from the International Dermal Institute. This certificate is recognized world-wide
as a symbol of dedication and hard work and signifies a level of excellence and achievement unparalleled to any other skin
care education center. Kristen is also Dermalogica certified through the International Dermal Institute. She offers
a full range of facial and body services. Kristen is quickly becoming know in
the Southlake area as the "Sugar Specialist" and her facials have been compared to the Four Seasons with little
to no breakouts after service. She has been trained in several methods of virtually painless extraction techniques and
prides herself on creating a face treatment like no other.  What is Sugaring? Sugaring is one of the oldest forms of hair removal. Considered an art,
the earliest references came from ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt and Greece. This sanitary alternative
to waxing uses pure, natural ingredients and is notably less painful. Hair need only be 1/8" versus 1/4" for
traditional waxing. It is effective on all skin types and hair textures for both men and women. Gentle enough
to repeat over same area to ensure thorough hair removal. The sugaring paste used is a blend of natural ingredients
with no chemical additives so there is no fear of any harmful side effects. Sugar paste is so natural you can eat
it prior to treatments. The application of this unique product will also remove dead skin cells leaving the skin soft,
silky and healthy.
